Tweet Power - Jinx!
I’ve seen this before. Sure, there are plenty of useless tweets — I’m guilty of them. But, since it’s free and it allows me to express myself to the (internet) world, I use Twitter. Josh and Bigi thinks it’s not worth their time. Perhaps I value social news more than them.
This afternoon, Josh sent me a message about the earthquake that hit his work in Los Angeles just minutes earlier. I didn’t hear about it so I loaded up my Twitter to check on any tweets. And there it was.
I still don’t know exactly why I tweet and use the service. Use it for fun? Use it because it’s the easiest way to “tell the world”? Use it to “be in the know”? Maybe for all those reasons. And perhaps I’ll continually find it useful like I did today.
